Oregon Repossession Laws

With our Oregon clients in mind we recently compiled a new repo resource, which has all of the relevant repossession rules and regulations pertaining to property recovery in the state.

Specifically, for repossession in the state of Oregon, it is necessary for anyone to know that the security interests are shown on title of the lien-holder. Also, the license plates are required to remain with the vehicle unless custom ordered. Also, repossession recovery is only allowed so long as there is not a disturbance of the peace. For license registration, you can contact the Oregon Motor Vehicle Division at (503) 945-5310. And, any out of state titles are required. Repossession certificate in the name of the lien holder, the original title endorsed by the lien holder, notarized affidavit of repossession and a copy of the final demand letter are required for liquidation to be obtained.

We hope to provide repo help for you in the state of Oregon on everything from medical devices to everyday vehicles. We will also surely process your property from the repossession to its eventual re-selling. Furthermore, we will gladly manage the storage, inspection and appraisal of resale price for your recovered property quickly.
