Washington Repossession Laws

Washington residents may want to look at the repo guide we have compiled as a free resource with all of the relevant repossession rules and regulations pertaining to the state’s property recovery process.

In order for a repossession to happen in the state of Washington, it is good to understand the security interests need to be shown on title held of the lien-holder. Also, the license plates must remain with the vehicle. Also, repossession recovery is only allowed so long as there is not a disturbance of the peace. For license registration, you can contact the Washington Department of Licensing Highways at (360) 902-3770. Also, the Title and Repossession Affidavit are required for liquidation to happen.

At MLS (Midwest Lenders Services), we provide ourselves in the state of Washington for providing repossession services on everything from equipment to vehicles, and we gladly do so to process your property from the initial repossession to remarketing. Also, we will take care of any storage, inspection and appraisal of your recovered equipment that is needed
