Pennsylvania Repossession Laws

Considering Pennsylvania clients, we created an extensive repo info guide, including all of the repossession rules and regulations you need to know about property recovery in the state.

What's more, for a repossession to happen in the state of Pennsylvania, it is vital to know that security interests should show on title held by the lienholder. Also, the license plates are to remain with the debtor. And, repossession recovery is only allowed so long as there is not a disturbance of the peace. For license registration, you can contact the Pennsylvania Motor Vehicle at (717) 391-6190. Lastly, a seizure notice (notarized), notarized copy of contract, title odometer statement (notarized), and copy of certified mail receipt to send redemption letter are required.

At MLS, we take great pride in providing Pennsylvania with repo services on everything from equipment to expensive real estate.
