North Dakota Repossession Laws

Here is a free repo guide for North Dakota clients. It has all of the relevant repossession rules and regulations pertaining to the state’s property recovery info.

Please know that the security interests must show on title held by the lienholder. Also, the license plates need to remain with the vehicle. Also, repossession recovery is only allowed so long as there is not a disturbance of the peace. For license registration, you can contact the North Dakota Motor Vehicle Department at (701) 328-2725. Lastly, title and repossession affidavit are required for liquidation to occur.

At MLS, we take care of real estate and vehicles and many other items. We will gladly process your equipment from the initial repossession to its remarketing. Also, we will gladly handle the storage, and appraisal of resale price for your recovered items.
